Table Tennis

I play a fair amount of table tennis and so I wanted to create something nice. It wasn't easy to make it look interesting but I ended up with 2 nice pictures, therefore, I was happy.

So here's the setup:

I used 2 flashes (one with a DIY diffuser) and a reflector (white side). One flash is on the ground pointing at the wall. I had to do this because I closed all the lights in the room to limit ambient light and I didn't want the wall to be dark. I used my Fujifilm X-T20 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2.

I used a black box to block some of the light from the flash to create a light coming through a window feel. Without it, it made a bottom right corner too bright.

I used the DIY diffuser to soften the light and also limit the path of the flash. Speaking of flashes, here are the settings for the flashes.

I badly underexposed this image. I had to bump it up by 1.15 stops in Lightroom. I applied the Classic Chrome preset for the colors. I also bumped the shadows by a lot. I should work on my lighting.

This one wasn't as bad but I still had to bump it up by 0.60 stops. I applied the Classic Chrome preset for the colors for this picture as well. It suits pictures with nice shadows and stillness.
