I went scouting for a location to take landscape/nature pictures and I stumble on this set of birch trees aligned in rows.
It was just about noon so the light was harsh but at the same time calming because of the shade the leaves of the birch created. Also, because it was noon the light came in directly from above, creating rows of light which I like a lot.
It was really windy so I shot at ISO 800 when I started because I was shooting at F/11 or F/9 which gave me shutter speeds of about 1/200s but this shot is F/4 (I think). I could've dropped my ISO, it's something I need to watch more.
This was shot with my Fujifilm X-T20 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):
I used a 4x5 crop and changed the white balance. I added a little bit of split toning and also played a bit with the yellow to make them more yellow. Everything was too green. I took several shots at different apertures and my Rokinon is manual so the camera doesn't save the data. It's pretty shallow and I remember using F/4 so I'll go with that.
