Sun Light Bulb

My parent's cottage has a really nice view of the water. I saw some picture similar to this and since the sun does set over the water, I thought I would try it. This was harder than expected.

First thing, you need clouds. At first, it was completely overcast but we finally saw a small window. I didn't bring a tripod which would've helped a lot. I asked my father to hold the light bulb but it was very hard to keep it straight and also the hand didn't look natural as it was coming more from the side. It was also super windy which made things harder.

As you can see from the picture, the small gap between the water and the clouds didn't give me much time. The light changed so fast. Aligning the camera with the light bulb so that the sun is in the perfect spot inside the light bulb is tricky.

This was shot with my Fujifilm X-T20 + Fujinon 27mm F/2.8. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):

I got a good shot but my exposure was way off but these days images are nice to work with. As you can see the light bulb is scratch up. It didn't look this way when you look at it with your eyes. The camera will pick up all the details.

Things I would do differently are buying a brand new bulb. Also, using a tripod would help a lot to get more shots.
