One night, I getting ready for bed and when I was closing the blinds in my bedroom, I saw the windy snow coming down. It looked really cool and thought it would make a great picture but wished it wasn't this late.
After more thinking, I realized this will only take maybe 10 to 15 minutes and we might not get these conditions again for a while. So now I had to make a decision do I bring the 27mm or the 50mm. Because of the conditions, I didn't want to switch lenses so I brought the 27mm. I should've brought the tripod but I didn't want to set up a tripod in the middle of the road with potential cars coming behind me. Hand holding at 1/18s is not optimal so next time I will bring a tripod.
This shot was taken with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Fujinon 27mm F/2.8. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Monochrome) + cropping:
I decreased the highlights and the shadows quite a bit. I increased the contrast and the clarity to make the image moodier. Black and white also helps with that. I didn't apply noise reduction even though I have a lot of noise because it made the image even softer. Also, the grain in these conditions isn't so bad. Shooting at ISO 6400 at 1/18s is not optimal for sharpness but it allowed me to get a shot.

It's funny, it took me almost 20 minutes to actually decide to go out and try the shot. Sometimes we have to trust our gut feelings and be a little more spontaneous.
