Insomnia

We're often in bed with our phones so I thought this would be cool/funny. With only a 50mm and a 27mm, the choice was obvious which lens I would use. What brought me to take this picture is the way the light went on my hands when I used my phone.

Here's the setup:

I used my small tripod for this as I needed my 2 hands. For the light source, I had my lamp on my right side. I wanted to create a dark atmosphere. I thought it would be funny to show a search on Google "How to cure insomnia" as someone who's going to bed. I should've changed the time to something like 2AM. If you have trouble sleeping, you shouldn't be looking at your phone before going to bed either.

This shot was taken with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Fujinon 27mm F/2.8. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Monochrome)

Again, this was brighter on the back of my LCD screen. I had to do a lot of local adjustments to get the look I wanted.

27mm 1/60s F/2.8 ISO 800

I also wanted a photo like this for my project which represents a moment in life. I don't think this is my best picture or idea but it's not because it's not the best, you shouldn't do it. These pictures often lead to better pictures.
