In the morning, when making coffee, I often notice the sun shining in a specific area of my backyard. We have some trees between my backyard neighbor and there's also foliage and weeds in there and there's a spot in the morning that kept catching my eye.
Setting up the shot was actually a little trickier than I thought. The first
issue, the fence. You can see it a bit in the top right of the image. The
other issue is framing the shot with the branches from the surrounding trees.
They're a bit intrusive and there's only so much I can move because I want to
keep the fence out of the frame.
These were shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of
camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):
So there's a lot of edits here. Even though it's the morning, the light is still very harsh. I wanted to decrease the difference between the shadows and highlights. There's a radial filter to isolate the subject even more. I also played with the greens a bit so they're not too yellow.

I think the sun is in a better position later in the year but the time of the
day is crucial. 10 minutes after my shot, the sun is lighting more and the
subject isn't isolated anymore. Maybe a polarized filter would help with the
contrasty highlights.
