Hay Sunset

I visited some nice walking trail on the other side of town expecting a nice view of the town but my lack of zoom made it difficult but I kept noticing these small trees and tall grass shinning in the lowering sun.

Sure there's nothing complicated about this setup but this is only to show you have you can easily miss something. At a quick glance, there's nothing interesting but if you go eye level and look closer, you can find some interesting subjects.

These were shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):

Very subtle edits. The first thing was the crop, this is 4x3. The most drastic edits are increasing the shadows by 50, changing the hue of the green to more yellow, lowering the yellow saturation and some split toning.

Changing the whitebalance and tint made the most difference. Sometimes the camera gets the whitebalance right but other times, it's way off so I feel it's not fair comparing the original picture without the adjusted whitebalance.

50mm 1/320sec F/5.6 ISO 320

I had to increase the ISO so I would freeze any movement made from the wind. Also, because I was so close to the subject, I had to stop down to F/5.6 so the background wouldn't be completely washed out.
