My wife bought some hydrangea and I was interested in the pink one at first. I was looking at them at noontime and the sun was really harsh but they looked good with the highlights. After trying more I was leaning more on the white ones because of the pure and clean color. I also decided to wait for more around 5PM.
The white ones also provided a better composition with the lighting. You can see the pink one in the setup shot.
These were shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2 + Macro tube. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):
Nothing really crazy here. I just wanted to bring out the details in the
flower with some local adjustments and I also played with the greens to make
them greener. Now that I'm revisiting them, maybe it's a tad too green.

Don't overlook the small stuff and sometimes keeping a limited color range is good. The simplicity of white and green really goes well together.
