I was at my parent's cottage they have some wildflowers growing near the road. Unfortunately, I only thought about trying to shoot these until it was time to go which was late afternoon (4:30 PM). I didn't think I could find a good composition but when it was time to leave, I felt I didn't try hard enough and so I decided to give it a shot.
As you can see there's some ugly bushes/trees in there as well. That's why I
couldn't use the 27mm. I really wanted the blue/purple one as the subject so
that's another factor that limited my compositions.
These were shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):
Nothing crazy here. I created my own vignetting to bring out the subject. The
colors were adjusted slightly to my liking.
50mm 1/1000sec F/4 ISO 160 |
I thought for sure there wasn't a shot here and that's why I gave up the first
day. Since I was leaving and I wouldn't be getting more chances, I tried
again. Sometimes, you need a push to be motivated and try.
