Sunset Wooden Trail

Earlier this summer, I went biking on this neat path not far from my house and I came across this wooden bridge. The way the sun was hitting and the colors were amazing. I knew I would come back and try to get a shot.

One evening I was bored and the sky was clear. I knew it would take around 25min to get to the location (driving + walking) and it was already a little late so I decided to go right away. It was super hot and humid so when I arrived I was all sweaty and my glasses were fogging up.

I've composed the shot to get the right side of the bridge close to the frame since it's lit by the sun. It also allows me to catch the water and the sky. Some clouds would've made this even nicer.

I was trying to get a shot but people kept coming into my shot and that's when I realized I should include them.

These were shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):

There's a lot of local adjustments but as for global adjustments, I lifted the shadows, added contrast, clarity, and a bit of texture. For HSL, I decrease the saturation of green and yellow. I also moved the reds to the orange side. For color, I also adjusted the blues in the calibration a bit.

50mm 1/125sec F/11 ISO 160

I think my focus point is too close to me and it should've been closer to the subject. The depth of field with a 50mm is not always easy. For this reason, I might try this again next year. Besides that, I'm really happy with the shot.
