The sun in winter is amazing. It doesn't go as high as in summer so it
produces nice sunlight even at midday. This was taken just after 2PM.
This was shot with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Rokinon 50mm 1.2. This is out of camera
raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):
I focused stack the image because I wanted the countertop to be in focus as
well. I warmed it up as you can see with the color grading tool. I lowered the
highlights on the plant to remove the harsh highlights. I darken the
countertop since it's not important and I decreased the vibrancy just a bit
and I find it makes a really nice look to my pictures.

I saw this potential shot a couple days prior to this shot and I didn't take a
picture. So I waited patiently until we had sunlight again. I like the waiting
and planning part of photography. It's kind of like anticipation of something
good.
