Soft Evening Clouds

I was scouting on the golf course for some composition when I noticed the clouds. They had a soft silky pattern to them like if a paintbrush was used. It was about 1h from sunset so there was also some nice light as well.

This shot was with my Fujifilm X-T3 + Fujinon XF55-200mm. This is out of camera raw with Lightroom presets (Adobe Color):

Clarity makes a big difference with clouds. Just don't go overboard. I pushed the blue hue to more purple in the HSL tab. I applied color grading to the shadows with a blue tint. Doesn't do much since there are almost no shadows. I have a bunch of local brush adjustments to enhance some of the highlights.

I think cloud/sky photography is not really popular. Sure most landscape shots will include a nice sky, but what I mean not many people try to compose for the sky only. It's not easy to find compositions but at least you don't need to be in epic locations to get something nice. Also being different and abstract is kind of refreshing.
